Our founder Jesse spent years as the go-to IT lead for a local New Zealand school, seeing first-hand the pressure on teachers and admin staff.
He knew the Sunday night dread before the Term 1 rush, the frustration of fixing spreadsheet errors at midnight, and the constant stream of "I can't log in" emails that derailed the first day of learning. So he built a better way.
Together with his partner and co-founder Phoebe, Jesse created SUB to build a secure, reliable bridge between school data systems and the digital tools educators depend on every day.
With backgrounds spanning New Zealand education as well as the public and private sectors, Phoebe and Jesse built SUB from lived experience. When you work with SUB, you deal directly with the people who built it.
